Scot Cohen, Chairman
Scot Cohen is the Co-founder of Iroquois capital, a New York based hedge fund with over $200 million in structured investments. He is also the Co-founder and Managing Director of the Iroquois Capital Opportunity Fund (
, a private equity operation focusing exclusively in onshore U.S. oil and gas assets. Mr.
Cohen has become an industry leader in structuring working interest & joint venture drilling partnerships and land acquisitions. Additionally Scot serves as a director of Boreas Capital,
a $300 million Scandinavian oil and gas technology fund.
In 2000, Mr.
Cohen founded Vertical Ventures, a merchant bank which invested in syndicated private capital. Mr.
Cohen remains actively involved in a wide variety of charitable organizations.
Mr. Cohen serves
as the Founder and Chairman of the National Foundation for Veteran Redeployment, a non-profit specializing in training veterans for careers in oil and gas industry through vocational scholarships and job placement.
He is an active supporter of the Jewish Enrichment Fund and ThanksUSA, an organization providing scholarship opportunities to American veterans and their families.
Mr. Cohen holds
a Bachelors of Science degree from Ohio University. He lives in New York City.
