Abe – Drill Operator in Kansas
We spoke to Abe about his situation, the training he needed to get a job, and we did our best to land him a career.
Deployed as an Army Field Artillery NCO to Afghanistan, Redeployed as drill operator in Kansas
Abe joined the Army to challenge himself, to see if he could stand alongside the nation’s bravest and succeed. Of course he excelled as a soldier, and earned tremendous acclaim from his chain of command. But an unexpected family accident forced him to end his military career early. He hadn’t prepared a resume or prepared for his transition out of the service; he always thought he’d stay in the military forever. NFVR understands that soldiers face as many struggles at home as they do when they’re down range. We spoke to Abe about his situation, the training he needed to get a job, and did our best to land him a career as a drill operator in Kansas. He knew the challenges of unemployment were going to hit him hard, but he called us and gained the upper hand. With his time, attention, and focus, we helped him land a career he can be proud of.
